Overview of the Shang and the Zhou dynasties
The Shag dynasty started from 1500bc it became string form 1766bc to 1046bc.Di xin the last Shang ruler became overruled by the Zhou power.
The new technology developed was the use of silk,iron tools acupuncture,cooper coins and the chariots .the iron tools help the acuity by farming and in war, the silk was used for making cloths. Copper coins helped them trade easier because the current was the same for everyone.Chariots were used as a good transportation and a tool un war. In the Zhou dynasty Confucianism was borne.both dynasty coexisted with each other.they both traded salt iron, glass, cattle, fish, precious metals, they also produced many bronze which was used to create armor and tools.
Both Zhou and Shang were polytheistic dynasty meaning that believed many gods,this was a typo of folk religion, the first form of writing found on oracle bones o the Shang dynasty.

Most habited: Yellow River (during Xi'an capital)
King Tang changed the name of the capital to Bo.
During 17 generations, the Shang Dynasty had 30 different emperors.
ZHOU:
Earlier part: Western Zhou. (empire father and son Wen and Wu).
Empire expanded east, the center shifted in that direction as well and the Eastern Zhou was born.
New capital: Luoyang.
Leaders were chosen based on an autocracy.
Beginning of taxation and forced labor.
Warring states: The once great empire was divided into three, the Wei, Han and Zhao. This was a time of feudalism and when a uniform currency was established to facilitate trade with farther regions.
The dynasty would remain divided and in constant internal dissent until the Qin Dynasty reunited it.
